Waxhaw regional history, from the original Native American inhabitants through the Civil War, is exhibited at the museum. It is located 15 miles south of Charlotte in Waxhaw. A 12-minute video introduces visitors to regional history before entering the museum, which features exhibits on the lives of early settlers in the region and Andrew Jackson's early life in the Waxhaw area.

Adults $4; Children 6-12 $2; Children 5 and under are free.
